This tiny backyard space was recreated as a relaxing, minimal spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. After removing the ugly, textured pink stucco from the retaining wall, the crisp, white concrete now lightens up the space. In addition, the unattractive concrete pavers were removed from the ground surface and replaced by a pretty layer of gravel. The tiny, unusable front lawn was transformed with beautifully-barked trees and visually-calming shrubs and perennials.
